Caring for the skin
The basis of good skin care is to make sure that your skin is well cleansed, moisturised and protected from the elements that trigger skin problems. Choose your skin care products carefully according to your skin type. They should be kind and gentle to your skin, free of unnecessary ingredients that have the potential to irritate the skin. If you have sensitive skin that is prone to dryness and eczema, choosing products that are formulated to a high dermatological standard, which are hypoallergenic, free of colour or perfume and pH balanced becomes vitally important – products that are basic, which do not compromise the tender nature of your skin.
Implement a daily routine
Implement a basic routine that you carry out daily – to keep your skin clean, supple, and healthy for as long as you can, preventing it from ageing prematurely. Whatever your skin type, which may be partly hereditary, your skin will look better if treated to a daily care routine. The skin accumulates dirt and oil daily so the first essential step is to cleanse, whether you wear make up or not. Then, moisturise to keep your skin soft and supple. And last but not least, it’s a good idea to apply a protective to your skin which provides a barrier on your skin to help protect it from the environment and skin irritants.Just five minutes of your time, morning and night, can give you a lifetime of more healthy looking beautiful skin.
